June 27-28 Stream Visual Assessment Workshop with Dr. John Braicco, learn to
assess the habitat and stability condition of streams and rivers.

August 5 “Newman, the Town that was Never on the Map” a canoe trip of Historic Mill Pond, a celebration of the Champlain Quadricentennial
5:00 PM Canoe Trip on Mill Pond, Launch boats at Jewtraw Park,
Station Street, Lake Placid, Demos available from Placid Boatworks
6:30 PM Pot Luck Barbeque at Placid Boatworks, bring a dish to pass
August 13 Wine Tasting Fund Raiser – 6:30 PM - The Great Range, Keene Valley
