Au Sable River Bank Erosion Survey

Since 2005, the ASRA has been working to inventory the amount of
bank erosion occurring on the Au Sable River.  The entire river has been
mapped, thanks in part to a grants provided by the Lake Champlain Basin
Program.  In addition, more detailed information regarding the East Branch,
in the Keene and Keene Valley area, was collected.  Information gathered
includes land use, coverage, invasive species, erosion indicators, features
affecting stream flow, and the length of pools, riffles, runs, and bends.
