Description: Cobble Hill is a short hike located inside the village of Lake Placid. You can easily walk to the trailhead from downtown, making this a great addition to a visit to the iconic olympic village. There are two trails to the summit, on that is short and steep, and another that is longer but more gradual. The junction between the two is well signed. The view from the summit mostly looks towards the south and east over the West Branch of the Ausable River along River Rd. Views of Lake Placid can be seen from an exposed rocky area just below the summit on the short trail.
