Request for Proposals: Culvert Replacement

The Ausable Freshwater Center is accepting proposals from qualified contractors to construct a culvert replacement on John Bliss Road in Wilmington, NY. The existing culvert is severely undersized, structurally degraded, and restricts fish passage upstream into Pettigrew Brook. Construction is slated for summer 2026. Request for Proposals: Trail Construction at Ausable Preserve

The Ausable Freshwater Center is accepting proposals from qualified firms to design and construct a ~3/4 mile sustainable and accessible nature trail in 2026 on a 9+ acre parcel in Jay, NY (see Figure 1).  The trail is intended to provide users the opportunity to experience a variety of ecological features on the site including terrace meadow, floodplain, wetland, and riverbank.
