Lake Protectors Training

Join Us on July 9th!

Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program (APIPP) staff will join the Ausable River Association at the Wilmington Town Beach to host a Lake Protectors training on July 9th from 9am to 12pm. At this training, participants will learn to identify, survey, and record data about aquatic invasive species so they can join the hundreds of other volunteers protecting our Adirondack lakes. During this event, there will be the option to paddle on Lake Everest to learn survey protocol on the water and identify aquatic plants and animals. Participants are asked to bring their own boat to join this portion of the training. For questions and to register for this training, please email events @ausableriver.org.
