Description: Roaring Brook Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls located within the Ausable River watershed. It is a prominent feature visible from Route 73 as you head from Chapel Pond towards St. Huberts and Keene Valley. There is a pull off on the side of Route 73 that will allow you to view the falls from across the valley, but it is also worth exploring the base and top of the falls. It is possible to take a trail 1.1 miles to the top of the falls. Visitors should be extremely cautious in this area, especially during high water, as there is a serious risk of injury or death if you loose your footing.
